Morley

Situated 9km from Perth GPO, the name Morley began appearing on maps around the turn of the twentieth century and was adopted when the area was subdivided for urban development after the Second World War. The most likely explanation for its use is that it commemorates Charles William Morley, who is known to have farmed in the Morley area during the 1860’s and 1870’s.

Over the years, Morley has developed and grown into one of the most popular central eastern suburbs boasting one of the largest regional shopping centres in Western Australia, the Centro Galleria which offers shopping, restaurants and cafes with an adjoining bus station making access to the City and suburbs a breeze.

Venture out and enjoy the nightlife as cinema complexes and cafe strips blossom with a lively atmosphere, classy bars and clubs in the surrounding areas of Mount Lawley, Inglewood and Dianella offer a convenient place to enjoy an evening out with friends.

Enjoy the tranquility of living close to the river in neighbouring Bayswater and Maylands where views of the Perth City skyline through to the Burswood Casino shimmer off the beautiful Swan River from residences ranging from affordable two bedroom apartments to the most oppulent riverfront properties imaginable.
